DaVinci Inc. (“DaVinci,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal, operational, and industrial data entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and secure data when you use our Smart MES platform, Ignis AI, related Services, and our website at www.davincism.io.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, business email, role, company details, billing information.
Operational Data: Production workflows, sensor data, ERP integration data, lab/quality reports.
Device & Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type, access logs, and telemetry data for system performance.
Website & Marketing Data: Contact details you submit through our forms (such as name, company email, designation, and phone number for demo requests, or your email for white paper downloads), live chat conversations, and cookie and device identifiers and browsing activity collected by the technologies described in Section 5.
Support Data: Communications with customer success teams, support tickets, and service requests.

We do not knowingly collect personal data of minors.

3. How We Use Data

Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
Respond to demo requests, inquiries, and chat conversations.
Measure and improve our website and marketing, including advertising on Google and LinkedIn, only where you have allowed it.
Enable AI/IoT-based analytics, production optimization, and compliance reporting.
Authenticate users and manage account access.
Process payments and billing.
Conduct research, product development, and aggregated benchmarking.
Meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

DaVinci does not sell personal information for money. If you allow advertising cookies, Google and LinkedIn may receive identifiers and browsing activity from our website for cross-context behavioral advertising, which California law treats as “sharing.” You can opt out at any time (see Section 10). Otherwise, we share limited data only in the following cases:

With Authorized Personnel: Access by DaVinci employees or contractors on a need-to-know basis.
With Service Providers: Third-party cloud hosting, ERP connectors, or payment processors, subject to confidentiality agreements.
With Analytics, Advertising & Chat Providers: The providers listed in Section 5, only for the categories you have allowed.
Legal Obligations: If required by law, regulation, subpoena, or government request.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or corporate restructuring.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies, scripts, and similar technologies from the providers below. Except for strictly necessary storage, none of them load until you opt in through our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time using “Cookie Settings” in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale/sharing and keep advertising technologies off.

6. Data Security

Enterprise-grade encryption (AES-256, TLS 1.2+) for data at rest and in transit.
Role-based authentication and audit logging for access control.
Regular security assessments, penetration testing, and monitoring.

7. Data Retention

Client operational data is retained for the duration of the subscription or as otherwise directed by the Client.

Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Clients may request deletion of data post-termination, subject to backup and compliance obligations.

8. International Transfers

As a U.S.-based company, DaVinci may transfer and store data in the United States or other jurisdictions. We ensure adequate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses for EU clients) are in place for international transfers.

9. Client Rights

Depending on applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), Clients may have rights to:

Access and obtain a copy of their data.
Request correction or deletion of personal data.
Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
Request data portability.

10. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), gives you the following rights:

Right to know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer, or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser.
Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name, email, phone number, IP address, and cookie IDs), professional information (such as company and designation), and internet activity (such as pages viewed and interactions with our website). We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

To submit a request to know, delete, or correct, email hello@davincism.io. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we hold, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide written permission from you.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for enterprise use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect or process children’s personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our business practices. Updated policies will be published on our website with the effective date.
